4-Step to Better Looking Skin
You are four simple steps away from better looking skin. Well, maybe 5 or 6 steps away from better looking skin. Simple is the key. Most people already know what to do.
I am tired of seeing women not taking care of their face, I just want to pull them aside and tell them what to do. Yes, there are those people with severe acne problem, but there are some people who are lazy with their routines and just want a miracle. Here is the secret that everyone already knows: Wash, exfoliate, tone, and moisturize. You should repeat these steps at least twice a day.
1. Wash- You must complete this step everyday. This allows you to remove dirt and make up from your face helping to unclog your pores. The type of face wash you chose depends on your skin type and personal preference.
2. Exfoliate- Complete this step 4-5 times a week. There are many different ways to exfoliate. You can use home made, natural recipes or you can use store bought products, like salt and sugar scrubs or exfoliating pads and cloths. Exfoliates are meant to help remove dead skin cells. If you have acne scars or dark spots this steps help them fade faster.
3. Tone- This is an optional step in a regimen. If you use a toner or face refresher, use something that is mild and gentle. Toners are meant to remove any remaining traces of dirt and make up on the face.
4. Moisturise- Complete this step everyday even if you have oily skin. Finding a good moisturizer can be time consuming and pricey. Some people use day moisturiser and a separate night moisturiser. Some people change their facial moisturizer depending on the season and climate. What ever you chose, you should find a moisturizer that has SPF/sunscreen properties, if you don't already use a sunscreen separately. If you wear make up then having a clean, balanced, moisturized face allows you to have a better looking finish.
5. Hydrate- Drink plenty of water. The reasons and health benefits of this step should be obvious.
6. Consult- Visit a dermatologist for expert medical advise.
If you are unsure of what products to use go to a department store and get a consultation from a representative at the beauty counter, they are very knowledgeable. Choose a brand that you can afford because it is customary to purchase at least one item from that line after your consultation. They may have samples that you can take home and try. Another great place to purchase facial products is from your local drug store. We obviously cannot recommend one particular product to use because there are so many out there. When you start a facial routine you must be patient and stick to it for at least one or two months to see if there are improvements to the condition of your skin, before going out and buying a whole new set of products to use.
There are many other step that can be added to your routine. Some use masks, spot treatments, spa treatment. There are golden rules that are passed down like, don't go to sleep with make up on, don't pick at your face, and don't touch your face. Taking care of our faces is not rocket science but it is not common sense to some people.

Men Inspired Women Shoes
Men inspired women shoes is a great reinvented style. Low heel and high heel lace up oxford are a great example of this trend. This is a very British inspired trend. These items would be great with stocking or tights and a skirt or great with trousers, wide leg or tapered. These are items you keep with you for years because the more worn in they are the better
Britney Murphy Dies at Age 32
I rarely write about the death of celebrities. It is always tragic to see a person pass away at such a young age, no matter the cause. Britney Murphy was one of my favorite actresses because she was an underdog. She did a full 360 transformation after her "Clueless" days. Everyone remembers "Clueless" which was a fashion cult movies. She went from the slightly chubby, quirky and funny, best friend sidekick to the slim and sexy, quirky and funny, leading lady. One of my favorite movie of hers was "Uptown Girl." I watched that movie dozens of times.
Murphy appeared in a number of films such as: Clueless, 8Miles, Just Married, Don't Say A Word, Riding in Cars with Boys, King of the Hill (voice of Luanne).
Condolences to Britney Murphy's family. I encourage everyone to LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST.

Vitamin E
It is no secret that Vitamin E is found in almost every beauty product for your face and body. Some people ingest Vitamin E pills as a supplement. It is found in many of the foods we eat like spinach, broccoli, almonds, and wheat germ. An alternate beauty solution is to use Vitamin E oil as a moisturizing serum. You can purchase pure Vitamin E oil from your local health and vitamin shops. Use it just like you would any lotion. I prefer to use it on my face after washing it, a little goes a long ways. The oil adds and locks in moisture and helps to repair the skin and keep it smooth. Vitamin E is a great beauty find.
Favorite Winter Fragrances

Fall is here, but let's try something new, instead of warm scents I am loving Clean Fresh Laundry. It is like a breath of fresh air. If you still want a warm scent then try Prada Eau de Parfum it is a great oriental amber scent. Another scent I like is vanilla, men love when a women smells like vanilla, an inexpensive fav from Bath & Body Works is Warm Vanilla Sugar.

Hair Liberation
Women are not mad and taking it out on their hair, it is more like women are feeling liberated and expressing it by cutting off their hair. They are helping Western society adjust its idea of beauty. This new hair revolution is not taking shape in the form of neatly styled symmetrical or asymmetrical bobs or cut little pixie cuts. No, not this time, women are taking it to the extreme; we are setting appointments in barber shops to get buzz cuts. Women are not consulting their stylist on the best ways to make their hair weaves and extensions look straight or real. Some men are shocked when they find out how much money a woman spends on her hair or how many hours woman spends in the beauty salon for one visit.
There is a hair revolution occuring. Women are going Au natural. Natural meaning no weaves, no extensions, no hair pieces, no perms, no relaxers. Young starlets and pop stars like Cassie, Rihanna, LaLa Vazquez, Nina Sky, Solange, Michelle Obama, Halle Berry's even went back to her signature short style, and Mel B's (Scary Spice) little daughter, Angel is sporting a baby mohawk. There are many celebrity hair revolutionaries, but for this new generation we have to give credit to Britney Spears, she took back control when she quickly and impulsively cut off all her hair. People thought she had lost her mind. Sometimes you have to go to an extreme to return to an equilibrium.
Hair is considered a sign of beauty in many cultures and societies. But this generation of young women are helping to redefine society's misperception of beauty. Many are making fashion statements not realizing that they are impacting and helping to redefine social culture as well as the corporate paradigm. Who knew that hair or lack there of could possible change the world.
